There are restaurants you visit, and there are restaurants you find yourself returning to. Daphne is being created in the hope of becoming the latter.

A place where the light softens as the evening unfolds, where the bar is rarely empty for long, and where people linger around the table. A restaurant with the kind of quiet confidence that feels no need to announce itself.

The food is classic without being nostalgic. The wines are chosen because they are worth drinking. Service is warm, attentive and free of unnecessary ceremony.

Daphne draws inspiration from the restaurants that, over time, become part of a city’s light. The places you step inside—and afterwards, can’t imagine life without them. Where artists, neighbours, cooks, business people and curious travellers sit side by side, and where the difference between a quick dinner and a long evening is an impulse.

Whether Daphne becomes one of those places is for time to decide. But it is the kind of restaurant we have set out to build.
